Sheepskins

The sheepskins are tanned in Ontario and are of the highest quality. The skin is thick yet supple, and the fleece has a thick pile and is very soft. They are all natural tones of white.

We sell three types of sheepskins: Rugs, Lambskins, and Medical skins.

The sheepskin rugs we sell are both beautiful and durable. They range in size, the average size is around 2 1/2 feet wide by 3 1/2 feet long. Some are slightly bigger and some are slightly smaller. 

The lambskins are smaller, with the average size being 2 feet wide by 3 feet long. The fleece is softer and the skin thinner and more supple than the rugs. They are wonderful in children's strollers and cribs.

The medical sheepskins have an extremely dense and evenly sheared fleece. As such, they provide excellent weight distribution for people who sit or lie down for long periods of time. The medical skins are machine washable, but must be air dried. They are the largest in size, with the average being 3 feet wide by 4 feet long.

Sheepskins are easily cleaned by vacuuming. They are machine washable - use cool water, delicate cycle and wool safe detergent. Air dry.
